We are a 11st year robotics team that competes each year in the FIRST Robotics Competition. Starting in January, we are tasked with designing, building, and programming a robot to solve a unique challenge and compete with schools in a worldwide competition organized by FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). For upcoming events see the Team Calendar. The ability to purchase team gear, including shirts, hats, and polos for the 2022 season, is coming soon!

Blue Ridge Brawl Off-Season FRC Event - Saturday, October 4th, 2025
The Blue Ridge Brawl is an off-season FRC event hosted by Spartan Robotics and Salem City Schools.

The registration fee for teams to compete is $350 (half price for second robots).
Optional early load-in will be Friday evening and the competition will take place Saturday. Please see https://shsrobotics.us/brb for more information.
The event is free for spectators and open to the public! Come support STEM education in Southwest Virginia!
